This is a Navajo 3 stone square cut Chrysacolla cuff bracelet. Circa 1920. Time and Place of the Whirling Logs symbol & arrows typical of the era. The Whirling Logs is an old symbol from many different cultures across the globe. The Navajo's of North America depicts the symbol as the cyclic motion of life, the seasons and the four winds taken from the image of a tree in a whirlwind. It is considered a very powerful medicine by the Navajo's. Very good used condition. There is one missing bead around the stones (see photo), and one of the stones is slightly loose. Chrysacolla is a hydrated copper silicate mineraloid, blue green in color and looks simular to turquoise with a earthy dull luster. Weight is 50 grams. Inside cuff measures 5 1/4" with a 1" gap. Not marked or signed which is also typical of Fred Harvey era.
